# Dreambit

> Dreambit is the home of AI game dev: discover and play every AI-made game, find resources, join the creators. Anyone can list a game (web, mobile, desktop) with one https URL; listings go live immediately and are moderated after by humans; players rank them by upvotes. Dreambit also ships its own AI game generator (https://dreambit.app/create), presented as one of many ways to make a game. Last updated 2026-10-14. ## For agents: submitting a game

- Endpoint: `POST https://dreambit.app/api/v1/submissions` (JSON). Minimum body: `{"url":"https://example.com/play"}`. Everything else (title, tagline, description, thumbnail) is read from the page's OpenGraph tags when omitted.
- Optional fields: `embed_url`, `title`, `tagline`, `description`, `thumbnail_url`, `screenshots`, `category`, `tags`, `platforms`, `ai_tools`, `source_code_url`, `creator`, `slug`, `contact_email`, `notes`. Categories: action, puzzle, rpg, platformer, strategy, simulation, racing, horror, casual, arcade, multiplayer, other. Platforms: web, ios, android, steam, windows, mac, linux, other.
- Auth: none required. Optional `Authorization: Bearer db_live_…` API key (from https://dreambit.app/me/developer) attributes the listing to your account. A bad key returns 401 invalid_api_key — it never falls back to anonymous.
- Responses: 201 `{ ok, listing: { id, slug, status, url, status_url, embeddable, enriched, attribution }, message }` · 409 `duplicate` with `existing.url` (do not retry) · 429 `rate_limited` with Retry-After (stop) · 422 `url_unreachable` · 400 `invalid_field` names the field.
- Limits: Anonymous: 5 submissions per hour and 20 per day per IP. API key: 30 submissions per hour per key. Signed-in session: 20 submissions per hour. Global: 300 submissions per hour across all callers.
- Rules: only submit games the user made; never invent metadata; don't retry 409; stop on 429.
- Poll: `GET https://dreambit.app/api/v1/submissions/{id}` → status live | pending | rejected | revoked.
- Search: `GET https://dreambit.app/api/v1/listings?q=&category=&tool=&sort=hot|new|top`.
- MCP server (Streamable HTTP): https://dreambit.app/api/mcp — tools submit_game, search_games, get_submission_status, get_listing. Add with `claude mcp add dreambit --transport http https://dreambit.app/api/mcp`.
